Boost your colour confidence and learn to use every colour of the rainbow in your quilts. Linda and Carl will discuss the basics of colour theory, demonstrate colour concepts and how to create and combine dynamic colour palettes, as well as share their tips and tricks on how to find colour inspiration in everyday objects to inspire, infuse and ignite the colour in your next quilting project.
It’s no surprise that Linda and Carl love colour and love creating colourful contemporary quilt designs and patterns as well as teaching the art of quilt making!
With over 16 year’s experience as a professional quiltmakers, Linda and Carl are intensely passionate about the art of quilt making. Always searching for a twist on traditional quilt making, their designs are well known for their whimsical look, adventurous appliqué and fearless use of colour.

Today, they enjoy collaborating on designing patterns and creating quilts for their company Colourwerx, with many being featured at Free Spirit Fabrics, Island Batiks and in Quiltmania’s ‘Simply Moderné’ magazine as well as self-publishing a line of best-selling patterns.
They have no employees except for one…Molly, the Beagle, their office manager who runs their daily schedule and home life.
