- August Retreat 2023 – thanks to Michelle Mongeon & her team for a great time making new friends while sharing the crafts we all love. a special presentation on the History of Boulder City by Special thanks to Michael Green, PhD., Chair, History Department, UNLV (and the husband of our Grants Manager, Deb Young) for a fascinating and humor-filled history on Boulder City, the Dam, and the early Las Vegas Valley. A Committee has been formed to plan the 2024 Retreat -- watch for details!
- So excited about our visiting teachers for October and January! Both are internationally known, award-winners at major shows, who receive rave reviews from anyone who has had the opportunity to hear them! Not to be missed! Both Susan and David will be offering 'mini classes' as part of our meetings. These detailed demos are a first for DQN members.
- New Sew Days at Sew Yeah Quilting in their classroom - beginning Sep. 26th, Gayle Hayes will be hosting a DQN Sew Day from 10 am - 4 pm. Grab your projects, sewing machine, and supplies and join her for some fun times! We have confirmed dates through the end of 2023 as follows: Oct. 31st & Nov. 28th. Sew Yeah is offering use of their classroom at no charge -- THANK YOU!!
