New Guild policy regarding NV State Sales Tax requirements. We have learned that the NV State Dept. of Taxation defines our Fair as a hosted DQN event where taxable items are sold. ALL SELLERS MUST COLLECT NEVADA SALES TAX. As such, we need to secure a Special Events Permit from the State. To do so, we must submit a list of all sellers no later than 30 days prior to this event. If you are unsure if you are required to collect sales tax, please email past treasurer, Bonnie Tuttle or Treasurer Alison Maier or as we always say - contact your own tax professional.
