Events:
On the navigation bar at the top of this page, the next page is Events.  Clicking on the word will open a page with links to the other pages under this topic.  Hovering over the word Events will produce a drop down menu that will take you to more information about upcoming events.  These include:
  • The Calendar has all the important dates for various events.  Also, included are the dates, times and contact information for our Circles.  We have also included the dates for shows that our members may be interested in. 
  • Desert Quilters of Nevada, DQN, holds an annual quilt show at the Henderson Convention Center in Henderson, NV.  The Quilt Las Vegas link will take you to the website that has everything you need to know about this upcoming event. 
  • Click on Board Meeting in the drop-down menu to find out when our next board meeting will be.  Our meetings are open to all members.
  • By clicking on Quarterly Meetings you will find who our speaker will be, what classes are being offered, and who to contact if you want to learn more.  The Workshops link will tell you even more about the specific workshops being offered.
  • Visit the other pages listed under this tab for all the great things we quilters are up to.  Have fun and explore!
Circles:
Click on Circles for a quick history and explanation of how circles work within DQN.  For more details about specific circles, roll over the word Circles on the navigation bar to see the drop-down menu.  At the top of the list is Circle Web Pages.   From this page you can visit each of our circle's individual websites.  Here's a place where they can show off their most recent project, what they will be doing in the future or perhaps their most recent gathering.  Be sure to contact the appropriate person for more information, because all circle meeting times and places are subject to change!  Also, on the drop-down menu, you will find a link for an Interactive Map showing when and where our circles meet.  If you would like to a copy of this information, just click on the .pdf file to open it and click "print".
Newsletter:
Our newsletter, "Quilt Chatter", is emailed bi-monthly to DQN members.  To download a copy from the website you will find the latest issue plus back issues in the "Members Only" section. You must log-in.
About DQN:
If you click on About DQN, on the navigation bar above, you will learn more about who we are and a short history of our guild.  Mouse over About DQN above and a drop-down menu provides links for you to find out about our Board and Chairpersons who help run our organization; just click on the prospective name to send an email directly to them.
